Administer and manage
Everything you need to administer CAST Imaging once it is installed and running, organized by what you want to accomplish.
Users, applications, and analysis
- Manage users and access: roles and permissions, user profiles and API keys, viewer preferences, and the audit trail.
- Manage license keys: enter and update your Named Application or Contributing Developers license keys.
- Manage applications: add, rename, delete, and configure applications and app-to-app dependencies.
- Configure domains: group applications into domains for display, access control, and per-domain database isolation.
- Configure analysis behavior: global settings that control what is analyzed and how results are stored and retained.
Extensions, databases, and integrations
- Manage extensions: extension strategy, Extend Local Server, and deploying custom extensions.
- Manage databases: day-to-day operations for the PostgreSQL and Neo4j databases.
- Configure integrations and system settings: CAST Highlight, CAST Extend, proxy, AI, search, services, and dashboards.
- Manage existing analysis nodes: assign a specific analysis node to an application, or rely on automatic load-balancing across the available analysis nodes.
Operate and automate
- Automate CAST Imaging: command-line interface, Jenkins plugin, and the analysis configuration API.
- Back up and restore: back up the platform databases, applications, and measurement schemas.
- Maintain and troubleshoot: diagnose performance, apply updates, and use advanced maintenance tools.
