Protecting CAST Imaging means backing up several components, each documented alongside the feature it relates to. This page brings the whole picture together.

Back up the platform databases

• Neo4j platform backup: back up the Neo4j graph database on Windows, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• PostgreSQL backup and restore: use the CSSAdmin tools to back up, restore, and optimize PostgreSQL schemas.

Back up applications and results

• Application backups: run and restore per-application backups from the Applications panel.
• Measurement schema backups: back up the Measurement schema used by the dashboards.
• Export / import applications: move a single application’s graph between environments.

Control retention

How long backups, snapshots, and job history are kept is configured under Configure analysis behavior:
