AI-Powered Features

Use of AI features is subject to the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Terms.

CAST Imaging Express includes AI-powered features that help users understand complex application architectures through natural-language explanations.

The AI features currently available are:

Explain View - An interactive AI assistant that explains any graph view in business-friendly language and supports follow-up questions.
Application Summary Report - AI-generated narrative descriptions embedded in the application analysis report.

Both features use an enterprise configuration of Claude Sonnet, provided by Anthropic and integrated by CAST. Only structural metadata is transmitted - no source code is ever sent to the AI model.

Out of the box, all AI-related features are disabled and must be specifically enabled by your organization administrator using the AI Settings menu option:
