Generating an AI functional report

Overview
Are you looking for a top-level AI generated functional report about your application? Something that you can provide to clients or to other interested parties but does not provide in-depth technical details…? Look no further than the AI functional report:
- a one-click report
- provided in Microsoft Word format to share easily
- downloaded automatically to your machine
Requirements
- An active connection to an AI provider, defined in AI Settings
- The application must have a datasource (i.e. a connection to the results storage schemas) defined in Managing data source configuration. This is automatically defined for applications that are fully analyzed in CAST Imaging, but not for applications whose results have been imported.
Generating AI functional documentation can consume a significant number of AI tokens, especially for large applications with many views as it triggers the summary generation process for all of the views in batches. Plan accordingly for token usage and associated costs when using this feature.
What does the report contain?
The report provided basic top-level AI generated information about your application, for example:
- Application core purpose
- Business area focus
- Target users and roles
- Main features
- Inputs & Outputs
