CMS Snapshot analysis - Run Metrics Calculation

This page is a guide to troubleshoot any problems you may encounter when you are running CMS Snapshot analysis - Run Metrics Calculation.

Run metric calculation occurs after each Execution Units analysis and it runs the Metric Assistant in order to check metrics and attached results to objects.

Once you run the Snapshot with analysis the process will proceed as shown in the screen shot below:

1. Check first whether the analysis is performed in a supported way. Go to Supported platform and covered technologies that are in the CAST AIP documentation Release Note. For instance, for 8.3 :

2. Get the Run Metric Calculation log file and  : CAST Management Studio - Information - Type of issues
3. Select the page corresponding to the type of issue you have identified:
   
   • CMS Snapshot analysis - Run Metrics Calculation - Crash
   • CMS Snapshot analysis - Run Metrics Calculation - Fatal Error
   • CMS Snapshot analysis - Run Metrics Calculation - Performance issue
