Shortcut Keys
F1 | Launches the on-line Help |
F5 | Refreshes the Graphical View to reflect any changes that may have been made (such as dropped objects or modified objects) |
F9 | Shows only objects directly linked to a selected object. See Viewing Linked Objects. |
F10 | Launches the Preview Linked Objects |
F11 | Launches the Code Viewer |
F12 | Displays the item's Properties |
CTRL+A | Selects all objects in the Graphical View |
CTRL+B | Enables you to finding/locate objects in the Object Browser window |
CTRL+C | Copies the selected text or object and places it in the clipboard. |
CTRL+E | Launches the Object Selection dialog box enabling you to select certain types of objects already placed in the Graphical View. |
CTRL+F | Use this command to display the Object Finder dialog box. You can use this dialog box to locate objects in the Graphical View. |
CTRL+J | This option is useful for expanding the size of objects that have been placed (by default) in the Graphical View in a contracted form. You may want to do this if you cannot see all the information in a Table (for example). |
CTRL+L | Launches the Add Linked Objects dialog box enabling you to add to the Graphical View all objects that are linked to the selected object. |
CTRL+M | Launches the Search in Code feature enabling you to search the code of the objects loaded into the Object Browser for a character string or expression. |
CTRL+N | This option will launch the Initial Scope Selection dialog box, except when you have an additional server connection open, in which case the Existing Connections dialog box is opened enabling you to select a connection. |
CTRL+O | Enables you to open a saved Graphical View. If you have more than one server connection open, theĀ Existing Connections dialog box will be opened before the Open View dialog box to enable you to choose which connection to use. |
CTRL+P | Launches the standard Windows Print dialog box, which enables you to specify various print parameters. For more information on how to Print Graphical Views, click here. |
CTRL+Q | This function enables you to select a certain number of objects displayed in the Graphical View and then space them out at a distance you specify. See Arranging objects in the Graphical View for more details. |
CTRL+R | Launches the Arrange Objects Wizard, enabling you to arrange the objects in your Graphical View. |
CTRL+V | Pastes the contents of the clipboard at the insertion point. |
CTRL+W | Opens a sub-view, which is essentially a new view but using the existing server connection. The Existing Connections dialog box will NOT be launched. For more information, click here. |
CTRL+[+] (Numeric keypad) | This option will zoom in towards the Graphical View one level, thus you need to repeat the process until you reach an appropriate viewing level. |
CTRL+[-] (Numeric keypad) | This option will zoom out from the Graphical View one level, thus you need to repeat the process until you reach an appropriate viewing level. |
CTRL+SHIFT+A | Selects all objects and links displayed in the Graphical View. |
CTRL+SHIFT+C | Launches the Existing Connections dialog box that displays all current server connections. |
CTRL+SHIFT+E | Launches the Link Selection dialog box enabling you to select certain types of links already present in the Graphical View. |
CTRL+SHIFT+P | Launches the Global Print dialog box enabling you to select how you want to print your Graphical View. |
CTRL+SHIFT+W | Opens the Assistant enabling you to select a variety of functions. |
