*Purpose
This page will help you solve problems related to the feature, Component Re-install.
To access the option:
- Select the database/schema you want to work with.
- Select Database/Schema Installation > Component Reinstall from the menu bar.
This feature enables you to:
- Reinstall any server-side components already installed on the selected database/schema. The components will be reinstalled with the current versions of the components you have installed to the workstation. Note this option is only available if the Upgrade Status heading in the Server Browser contains Up To Date.

Action Plan
If you are getting the error "Duplicate key value violates unique constraint - pk_keysidkey" while doing a component re-install on your local base, refer to the below page. The same solution is applicable if you face the same error while running a component Update on your local base. - if Server Manager is not able to create the particular view/table even after performing component reinstall then check Server Manager - Component Reinstall - View is not getting created after component reinstall
