Introduction

There are two sets of access permissions that can be granted to a User or a Group of users:

  • Ability to access the Admin Center
  • Access to Application data - permission must be granted before a user/group can view a specific Application data in CAST Imaging

You should therefore define these roles so that your users can access the data they require.

Process

Login to CAST Imaging with a user that has been granted the ADMIN role (for example the default "admin" user if you are using local authentication) and click the settings icon:

Click the Users panel in the top right corner:

Use the:

  • Roles column to grant the ADMIN role to a user/group (enabled the user to access the Admin Center
  • Applications authority column to grant access to a specific application that has been imported into CAST Imaging
You can find out more about this in Admin Center - Role and access permission management.
