*Purpose
This page is a guide to troubleshoot any problems you may encounter during CMS Snapshot analysis - Run Dataflow Security Analysis step.
Run Dataflow Security Analysis is part of the Snapshot process and is an optional step that is enabled in CAST AIP or AIP Console. It occurs just before the Prepare Snapshot step.

Action Plan
Perform the following steps:
- For CAIP retrieve the Cast-MS log file and for AIP Console the Analyze/Snapshot log .
- Data flow analysis consists of one analysis step for each technology(J2EE and/or .NET) and a saving step of the results in the local database. Identify by the step:
- If the issue occurs between information messages starting Task Run <XXX> Data Flow Security for <XXX_APP> and ending Task Run <XXX> Data Flow Security for <XXX_APP> where XXX is J2EE or .NET then go to CMS Snapshot Analysis - Run Data Flow Security Analysis - Run J2EE or NET Data Flow Security
- If the issue occurs between information messages starting Task Save results to database and ending Task Save results to database then go to CMS Snapshot Analysis - Run Data Flow Security Analysis - Save results to database
