What is CAST Security?

CAST Security is a standalone product that has close ties to CAST AIP. The main differences are:

• A dedicated dashboard called the CAST Security Dashboard.
• A dedicated Assessment Model providing information on the "Security" Health Factor only.

Can CAST Security co-exist with CAST AIP on the same machine?

Yes, provided that the installation path for the CAST Security setup is different to CAST AIP.

Can I install CAST Security schemas on Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Server?

No, CAST Security is only supported on CAST Storage Service 2 or 3 (recommended).

Can I use the same CAST Storage Service as used for CAST AIP?

Yes, although CAST highly recommends using a dedicated CAST Storage Service.
