The workspace feature in Enlighten is very simple, yet can be highly practical. When this option is activated on closing, Enlighten will save all settings and currently open saved views. The next time you open Enlighten, you will prompted to choose whether you want to restore the saved workspace and all saved views and associated Object Browsers that were open when you closed Enlighten.
If you choose yes, all views that were open at the time of closing Enlighten will be restored along with all associated Object Browsers, settings, Code Viewers etc.
If you choose no, you will be presented with the Assistant as during the normal start-up procedure.
Deactivating the option will cause the workspace not to be saved when you close Enlighten and no items will be restored when you re-launch the application.
