Generate a Report
The Generate Report option enables you to create a simple HTML based report about the objects saved in the CAST Dashboard Service following a snapshot generation.
Accessing the option
- In the Application editor click the button in the Execute tab.
- In the Dashboard Service editor click the button in the Snapshots tab.
Wizard
When accessed, a wizard will be displayed enabling you to chose the HTML report options:
HSQ file | This field defines the .HSQ template file for your report. By default, the CAST Management Studio will select the most appropriate predefined HSQ template, however, you can use the Browse button to select a different template if necessary. |
HTML report file | This field defines the HTML file that will be used to save the report. By default, the CAST Management Studio will select a file stored in a sub-folder of your %TEMP% folder. You can use the Browse button to select a different output file if necessary. |
Results
When you click the Finish button in the above wizard, the report generation process will begin. The resulting report will then be automatically displayed in your default web browser:
