Purpose (problem description)

When installing CAST, the installation fails with the error ‘The system cannot find the path specified. The log file will show something like this:

Directory of D:\CAST
File Not Found"

Setup - Installation - Fatal Error - Unable to use CAST AIP

Problem Description

For Windows, the machine user name i.e. the Full Name has to be less than 30 characters (including the domain) else we will not be able to use any of the cast products that take into account the windows log-in.

The impact of having a full name more than 30 characters can be

Unable to use Cast AIP.
Unable to run any operation that involves synchronization.
