CSS Tools - Restore - Error - Could not execute query ERROR out of memory

Purpose

This page provides the information for restoring the CSS2 base if you are getting “out of memory” in the restore log.

Below is the error from the restore log:

Purpose

If we use the CSSRestore.exe/CSSBackup.exe from another folder rather than the installation folder it would give the error : Failed to load main class com.castsoftware.cssadmin.cli.BackupSchema

Action Plan

When using the CSSRestore.exe/CSSBackup.exe from any other folder we need to

Add the option -exedir to specify the directory path of the cast installation folder.

-exedir is used when you want to run CSSBackup.exe from outside the CAST installation folder: It allows you to specify the path to the CAST installation folder.
