CMS Snapshot Analysis - Execute Linker - Error - Failed to execute Linker
Problem
This page deals with the issue encountered while running a huge analysis (more than 200 AU) where the analysis finally fails at “Execute Linker” step.
The analysis fails at this step and also consumes all of the available disk space as high as 400 GB.
This issue is caused due to some of the SQL Procedure in the Linker, that were not efficient leading to performance problem and crash.

Solution
The SQL Procedure used in the Linker have been optimized for better performance.
This issue is resolved in CAST 7.3.8 version.
