  1. Create reference pattern search strings
  2. Run the tool of reference pattern search string

Action Plan

This issue occurs when there is one reference pattern search string with “Based on reference pattern field” empty and you try to run another reference pattern search string with filled content in “Based on reference pattern field” .

You can also check the message under Validation View:

This issue is expected.

The solution would be to

  1. Either remove that reference pattern search string tool which has “Based on reference pattern field” empty
    or
  2. Provide the content for the same.
