Problem Description

When a Reference Finder job is running (whatever the technology), “Object xxx obsolete, you should re-analyze it” warning messages can be raised.

Action Plan

This warning message is displayed if :

either a source file has changed/updated/replaced or source file timestamp has been changed.

  1. If the source code of the file is the same and has not changed, then this warning have no impact.
  2. If the source code has changed, then it is strongly advised to reanalyze the source code to have analysis in sync with the updated source code.
