Step by Step Scenario

View count of tables on analysis overview.
View count of tables on Dashboard Quick Access.
Compare the count of CMS tables with the count of Dashboard tables.

Action Plan

Check the expectations:
We can see in this example that there are 697 Tables shown in the Dashboard while CMS indicate 580 “Oracle table”, which mean that we have 117 more tables counted in the Dashboard.
If we look at the objects counted on CMS we notice that we have exactly 117 “Oracle materialized views”, this number is exactly equal to the surplus of tables found in Dashboard.
In fact the count of tables shown on Dashboard can represent one or several of following categories ( Please refer to the following page Geting types of objects counted in CMS)

Purpose (problem description)

When connecting to the Dashboard “Size Baseline” (FRAME_PORTAL_AFP_VIEW) view, you observe that the number of Function points in the dashboard is different from the Number of Function Points shown in TCC.

Step by Step scenario

Run an analysis.
Do some calibration in TCC.
Generate snapshot.
Go to the dashboard “Size Baseline” (FRAME_PORTAL_AFP_VIEW) view, you observe that the number of of Function points in the dashboard is greater than the Number of Function Points shown in TCC.
