To export the database of your CASTStorageService:

Please open command prompt.
Go to CAST Installation directory.

For example: “C:\Program Files\CAST\7.0.1 “

Run the below command on command prompt.

C:\Program Files\CAST\7.0.1>CSSBackup.exe -schema <schema_name> -password CastAIP -file <path_and_name_of_backup_file.cssdmp> -log <path_and_name_of_log_file.log>

<Schema_name> by the name user owner of the Schema

Details

Open a windows explorer

Go the directory \Program Files (x86)\CAST\CASTStorageService\db_data\pg_log or **:\Program Files\CAST\CASTStorageService\db_data\pg_log depending on 64 bits or 32 bits windows installation.

Get the postgresql log files corresponding to the date of the tracked events (the creation date is in the filename). For instance postgresql-2013-01-02_000000.log.
