Start the onboarding

To onboard an application, your Console login must have the Admin or Application Owner role.

Move to the Console screen if you are not already there:

Click the Onboard application button:

Define your application and source code

After clicking Onboard application, the following screen is displayed allowing you to define your application and source code:

1	Application name	Enter a name for the application that represents the source code you are uploading: Application onboarding with Fast Scan - validate the Fast Scan Mon, 01 Jan 0001 00:00:00 +0000 Introduction When the Fast Scan is complete (see Application onboarding with Fast Scan - onboard your application source code for more information about starting this process), the results are displayed automatically in the Application - Overview with Fast Scan page: In addition, the Application is marked as Discovered in the AIP Console - Application Management page: Checks You should first check each of the following sections: Zip Content/Folder Content The Zip Content/Folder Content section provides details of the source code that has been uploaded (either via a ZIP file or via the source folder location) with the means tofilter (i.e. exclude) certain files and folders. Application onboarding with Fast Scan - check and configure extensions Mon, 01 Jan 0001 00:00:00 +0000 Introduction As part of the Fast Scan process, Console automatically determines which extensions should be automatically installed and used as part of the deep analysis, in addition to any that are set to “force install” (see Administration Center - Settings - Extensions Strategy or Administration Center - Extensions Strategy). Following the validation of the Fast Scan process (see Application onboarding with Fast Scan - validate the Fast Scan) you should now check and configure these extensions: Application onboarding with Fast Scan - run the initial deep analysis Mon, 01 Jan 0001 00:00:00 +0000 Introduction If all checks have been completed, any optional file exclusions have been implemented, Console has given the green light to run the deep analysis - see Application onboarding with Fast Scan - validate the Fast Scan, and you have checked the included extensions (see Application onboarding with Fast Scan - check and configure extensions) then you are ready to run an initial deep analysis.
