JAF V1.5 Build 6 - Migration From V1.5 Build 5

  • Backup existing CBWS installation folder “<Installed_path>\ CastBatchWSServer”  to  a new folder e.g. “<Installed_path>\CastBatchWSServer _<current_date>”.
  • Unzip  CastBatchWSServer-1.5_Build6.zip  to a temp path  e.g. <Temp_path>\WSBatchServer-1.5_Build6
  • Stop “Jenkins” service

  • Stop “CastBatchWSServer” service

  • Copy  below file from the path <Temp_path>\WSBatchServer-1.5_Build6 and replace the same in “<Installed_path>\CastBatchWSServer”.

  • Note: The below step is applicable If the caip.version=<CAST_AIP_VERSION>" entry is not present in CastAIPWS.properties. 
    Edit file CastAIPWS.properties  in the CBWS installation folder e.g. <Installation_path>\CastBatchWSServer\CastAIPWS.properties 
    Add a new line “caip.version=<CAST_AIP_VERSION>” as below. 

            Close and save the file.

  • Start “Jenkins” service

  • Upload the CastAIPWS.hpi in Jenkins  under Manage Jenkins → Manage Plugin → Advanced → Upload  Plugin
    Ensure the new uploaded version is displayed in the Installed Tab against CAST Jenkins Plugin

  • Start “CastBatchWSServer”.

  • Restart “Jenkins”
