Introduction

CAST Extend Offline (in v. ≥ 1.1.0) is delivered “empty” without any preconfigured extensions - you will therefore need to populate Extend Offline with extensions before you can use it. In addition, you may want to update CAST Extend Offline to add new extensions or to include more recent releases of extensions that are already available in Extend Offline.

✅	Host Operating System	CAST Extend Offline can be installed on Windowshost Operating Systems. Supported versions of Windows: Windows Server 2019 Windows Server 2016 Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Windows Server 2012 Standard Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Standard Windows 10 Windows 8.1
✅	Browser	CAST Extend is not supported when using Internet Explorer.
✅	Disk space	CAST Extend Offline requires at least 2GB of free disk space.
✅	Network access	CAST Extend Offline runs as a Windows service on the default port of 8085 (this can be customized). You may therefore need to adjust firewall rules on the server to allow incoming connections on the listening port.
✅	Proxy Settings	If the server (for example an AIP Node) which is accessing the CAST Extend Offline is also configured to pass all outgoing connections through a proxy (via the Windows proxy settings), then you may need to whitelist the IP address/host name of the server running CAST Extend Offline in order to route connections correctly.
