Error dialog box

The Error dialog box is displayed during a variety of different operations.

This message appears when the operation you are attempting encounters one of the following problems:

The transaction log is full. If so, you can select the first option Dump the inactive portion of the transaction log to free up space in the transaction log and continue with installation.
You have insufficient space on your installation device and you will need to increase the size of the segment/filegroup before you can continue with CAST Server Side Install. Please contact you Database Administrator to resolve this problem.

Existing Database/Schema dialog box

The Existing Database/Schema dialog box is displayed when installing a CAST AIP database/schema:

It enables you to choose or search for an existing database/schema.

Options

Limit display to 20 rows > displays the first 20 database/schemas
Name like > enter a search to help narrow down the number of returned databases/schemas - clicking Reload will apply the filter to the list.

Oracle Home Selector dialog box

The Oracle Home Selector dialog box is displayed when more than one Oracle Home has been detected on your machine by CAST Products. This can happen when you are using any CAST Product and can prove problematic if you are extensively using the command line to launch processes (the dialog box will be launched, halting the process).

When the dialog box is launched, select which Oracle Home you want to use with the process you are attempting to carry out - select the Oracle Home you require (will be highlighted in blue) and click OK.
