Save Options (on Specific Objects)

This wizard page enables you to select where and how you want to save the Report. Essentially, there are two options:

you can save the Report as a Template (see Template below)
you can save it as an HTML or XML file (see HTML Report File below).

Template

This section enables you to save the Report as a Template (or .HSQ file). This basically means that the "code" needed to generate the Report is saved, but not the results.

Save Selection as Template	Check this option if you want to save the report as a .HSQ file.
Save as dynamic objects list (only reusable with this wizard)	Selecting this option will force the template to be saved as a "Dynamic Object List". This has two main consequences: When re-launching your saved report template with the Report with predefined (Template Launcher), it will be displayed as "dynamic": Here are two templates that can be launched. TEST REPORT has been saved as dynamic and can be distinguished from a standard "static" template by its icon. When you choose to save your report as a template AND choose to save it as a "Dynamic Object List", only the parent objects you selected in Object Selection will be registered in the report template. This means that all sub-objects, including newly added objects (following a re-analysis with CAST Analysis Manager), will be included in the final report when you relaunch the report template in Report with predefined (Template Launcher). Please be aware, however, that deselecting just one sub object will cause the entire parent folder to become "static" - i.e. it will behave as a static template and no new objects will be taken into account in any subsequent report results. If you leave the option blank and have added new objects to your project and re-analyzed it, they will NOT be taken into account when you subsequently run the report template from Report with predefined (Template Launcher). Static/Dynamic: A template will be considered static when you leave the above option blank - only the selected objects will be included in a new report. A template is considered to be dynamic when you check the above option - only the parent objects will be registered in the template causing any new objects added to the project (and that are stored in the Knowledge Base after re-analysis) to be taken into account when you subsequently run the report template.
Name	Enter a name for the template. This will help identify the Template.
Description	Enter a short description of what the template will do when run. This also helps identification.
File	Click the Browse button to launch a standard Windows Save dialog box. Enter a name for the .HSQ file. Alternatively you can enter a name for the Template in the text box itself, including the path parameters.
Next	If you only want to create a Template for the Report, leave the HTML Report File section blank. Then click Next to continue. If you want to generate and run the HTML Report at the same time, enter the parameters in the HTML Report File section.

HTML Report File

Generate the report	Select this option if you want to actually generate the report, i.e. create a file which will then be saved on your PC.
Save HTML file	Enter the path and name of the file you want to save the report in. You can choose to save the report as either an .HTM or an .XML file. Alternatively, click Browse to launch a standard Windows Save dialog box and choose the type of file and its location.
Display the report when finished	Select this option if you want the application to display the report on completion of the generation process.

What to do next…?

Once satisfied with your selections, click <Back to return to the previous step, click Next> to move on to the next step, Finish to go directly to the Report page or Cancel to abort the process.
