Connection

This application is a report generation tool and, as such, it provides a means to extract technical information from the Analysis Service in the form of HTML based reports. Your Analysis Service will be installed on any supported CAST Storage Service, Microsoft or Oracle server (please refer to the Release Notes for more information on supported versions).
You therefore need to connect to the server that contains your Analysis Service using a login name and password that have sufficient permissions to access it.

This dialog box can be launched from the Help menu located on the menu by selecting the Connection Layer Information option. It displays various information regarding the different Connectivity Layers on your workstation.

These layers are used by CAST Products to connect to the various servers accessible from your workstation.
