Application Specific INI File Options

This page describes how to add various parameters to the ENLIGHTEN.INI file (located in your %APPDATA%\CAST\CAST<Version_Number> directory after installing CAST Products). These parameters add supplementary features to the application.

Never View Folders Option

In certain circumstances, the Initial Scope Selection dialog box may take some time to load (particularly if you have a large number of objects in your Knowledge Base).

Using this option, you can force the application NOT to search for any sub-folders (yellow folder icon), thus reducing the amount of time needed to establish what icons actually need to be displayed:
