The installer includes the AIP Console front-end service and one AIP Node back-end service. Integration with embedded Dashboards is achieved via a deployed RestAPI. UI - Application Management screen - Analysis Duration	A new column has been added to the Application Management screen called “Analysis Duration”. UI - Analysis Report - Export	The export to .CSV of the Analysis Report data available in the Application Overview panel has been improved. Architecture Studio - Check overlapping objects	A new option has been added to the header toolbar when working in the Architecture Studio edit mode. This new option allows you to check whether any objects you are capturing in your model are present in more than one layer - in other words you may have multiple layers that target the same object types. Architecture Studio - Layer/Set creation	When creating a new Layer or Set, you will no longer be prompted to name the item. This step has been withdrawn to improve the workflow. Items are given a generic name and can be renamed after they are created.
Architecture Studio - Check Model	When checking the violations in an Architecture Model or Quality Rule Model or the objects in a Layer or Set, it is now possible to add “path” information about the objects in question. Source code discovery	A new framework discoverer is implemented to identify technologies and frameworks. More efficient, more precise, and delivering more information at the end. When a version has been delivered and source code has been discovered, then the corresponding technologies and relations between them are display graphically in the application Details page. This helps checking the completeness of the source code delivery.
Mail integration	User can define email addresses. He can enable/disable mail notifications when job is done or failed.
Internationalization	Support non English characters for application/version/snapshot names.
Automation	Automation tool has been updated to launch the whole workflow in a single action: create application, deliver version, compute snapshot. New generation CAST Extend

AIP Console v ≥ 1.10.0 requires credentials and access to a new release of CAST Extend. Credentials are inputted during the installation process. Please therefore create an account here for use with AIP Console:

Credentials have not been ported from the "legacy" CAST Extend service at https://extend.castsoftware.com/V2/, therefore using existing credentials will result in failed operations in AIP Console.

Off-line Extend

Extend can be installed as a local service

Note that the offline Extend package is currently in BETA and therefore CAST does not provide any official support.
