Introduction

TheVersions section provides a mechanism to manage successive Versions for the current Application. Among the options available are:

Edit
Mark as complete
Accept
Set as current version
Reject
Purge
Delete

A Version specifies the source code of an Application at a given moment in time. New Versions are created when the Application’s source code changes and you want to measure these changes.
If you are using the rapid delivery mode without version history (see AIP Console - Delivery Modes) then only one single version will be listed in this screen. In this mode, versions are not retained. The Add Version button is therefore replaced with the Process button

How does Console provide access to extensions?

Console provides two methods to work with extensions, these are explained below. In each case, when an extension needs to be fetched either from CAST public Extend servers or from an on premises Extend local server, the following will be used on the relevant Node:

Console ≤ 1.24	ExtensionDownloader.exe

Introduction

TheSnapshots section provides a mechanism to manage Snapshots for the current Application. Once a snapshot has been generated it will be listed in this section. Management options available include:

Publish All
Rename
Consolidate
Delete

A Snapshot is a “capture” at a specific moment in time of the status of an Application’s source code using a set of measures and rules.
