Action Plan
The issue here occurs when the ORA-01555 error relates to insufficient rollback segments or undo retentions parameter values that are not large enough.
The modified data by performed commits and rollbacks causes rollback data to be overwritten when the rollback segments are smaller in size and the number of the changes being performed at the time.
To solve this issue
- Perform the extraction at a time when you have a lesser load or transactions happening at the ORACLE server.
- If the problem you are facing does not match any case listed on this page, report your problem to CAST Technical Support and provide the relevant input for CAST Technical Support to reproduce the issue.
