Setup - Uninstall - Information - How to check if uninstallation of CAST AIP has been successful

The page provides steps to check if  uninstallation  of Cast AIP has been successful.

Perform the following steps to confirm if uninstall of CAST AIP has been successful.

For AIP 7.3.0:

1. Open regedit with a command line prompt (with administrator rights) after first uninstall and check that you don't have any entry under : 
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{47F037EE-FE1D-4E39-B38A-1EDDCBB380B6}
     
     
     or
     
     
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall{47F037EE-FE1D-4E39-B38A-1EDDCBB380B6}
     
     
     
2. If your machine is 32Bits, remove Wow6432Node from path to check entry.
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{47F037EE-FE1D-4E39-B38A-1EDDCBB380B6}
3. If these entries still exist, it means that uninstall has not run correctly, delete these 2 entries and rerun installation.

To check the same for 7.2.0 and 7.0 AIP:

1. Verify all the entries in the mentioned paths and check the Display Version as displayed in the attached images.
   If they correspond to the version you are looking for, you need to delete those entries.\

For 8.0.0 AIP:

1. InstallShield Key is:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{445031A7-26D1-489A-B82D-A99545B6A6D4}
2. Other Key is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{445031A7-26D1-489A-B82D-A99545B6A6D4}

For 8.1.0 AIP:

1. Installshield Key is:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{74458D8A-BF7E-4286-BCA4-452D729B4AAD}
2. Other Key is:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{74458D8A-BF7E-4286-BCA4-452D729B4AAD}

For 8.1.1 Service Pack:

1. Installshield Key is:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{7206cfc2-5a9d-4d4a-bdce-058ebe19eef7}
2. Other key is:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{7206cfc2-5a9d-4d4a-bdce-058ebe19eef7}
