Server Manager - Launching Server Manager - Error - Server Manager Fails to Open - Duplicate package information STAT Error - Cannot write to ini file location Error

This error will appear when we try to open the server manager.

Following errors would appear :  error can't write to "(null)" or Duplicate package information : STAT

Open Server Manager

This error occurs when CMS/server manager is unable to create files, which usually happens when CMS doesn't have write permissions on the folders mentioned in CastGlobalSettings.ini which is located in the CAST installation area.

1. See if the values for CastGlobalSettings.ini have changed
2. Verify that for the default settings in CastGlobalSettings.ini (if no modifications have been done) or the modified settings are directories which the user can write to
3. It may be required as well to add the variable " CAST_CURRENT_USER_PERSONAL_PATH " in CastGlobalSettings.ini .   See Appendix - Modifying default CAST data storage locations
