Server Manager - Launching Server Manager - Error - Incorrect module configuration File PATH XXX SQL does not exist

This page will help to troubleshoot the following issue that may happen when connecting to the Database Server.

Server Manager fails with the error Incorrect module configuration : File <CAST INSTALLATION FOLDER>\Installscript\XX\XXX.SQL does not exist as shown in the below screenshot:

• Not possible to connect to Server Manager.

1. Install a new extension
2. Open Server Manager
3. Select a Database Server
4. The message appears

This issue is due to a malformed extension. It contains an incomplete Installscript. The action plan is to identify the extension that leads to this issue.

1. Go to the extension folder
2. Remove 50% of the extension folders
3. Open Server Manager and connect to the Database server.
4. If the issue still occur, the culprit extension is still in the extension folder.
   1. Go to step 2.
5. If the issue does not occur, the culprit extension is in the set of extension that was removed.
   1. Replace the Extension in the Extension folder by the set of extensions removed.
   2. Go to step 2.
6. If the Culprit Extension is found, remove it from the Extension folder.
7. Open Server Manager and connect to the Database server.
8. If the above steps do not help you, contact CAST Technical Support with the relevant input

Note that this error messages has been improved with the extension folder appearing in the error since CAST AIP 8.2.7.
