Step by Step Scenario
  1. Open Server Manager
  2. The option Initial platform base(s) installation for Combined Install is missing.
Action Plan

The behavior occurs because of one option that has been added to the GloballySharedSettings.ini which prevents to use the combined install on server manager.
To enable this option we need to remove this option from the GloballySharedSettings.ini file.

To enable the "Initial platform base installation" option proceed as follows:

  1. Close Server Manger.
  2. Open the file "GloballySharedSettings.ini" generally located in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CAST\CAST\7.0" (depending on the AIP version) and

  3. Remove this instruction

       [PMC]
    enable=0
  4. Save the file
  5. Rerun Server Manager.

Now you be able to see the missing option and do the combined installation.
