Operating systems Information - Getting Errors from the Event Viewer

With Event Viewer, users can monitor events recorded in Operating systems Application, Security, and System logs. This page explains how to view Errors from the Event Viewer

To access it, explore the system as follows

1. Right click on "My Computer" then click on "Manage"
2. In the Computer Management window, expand "Event Viewer": select "Application
3. In the right panel of the window, you have the list of messages. Identify the error event which occurs at a particular time of your interest then double click on this error to have details
4. In the dialog box of the event viewer, the description gives you details
