Action Plan
  1. Check if the technical debt metric is not existing on the assessment model for this run the following query on the CB related to the concerned application:

    select * from dss_metric_types where metric_id = 68001

    Query result example:

    --68001;"Technical Debt";"Technical Debt estimates the cost to fix a pre-set percentage of high severity violations, of medium severity violations, and of low severity violations.";1;0;"";0;0;0

    If the query don't return the above row then the issue is about missing technical debt metric from the CB, then go to the next step, or else contact CAST Technical Support and provide the relevant input.

  2. Check if the missing technical debt metric is due to the assesment model configuration, for this open the assesment model from CMS, go to "sizing model tab" and serch for "technical debt" metric:

    1. If the metric cannot be found then do the following:

      1. Import assessment model - verify that the assessment model now contains technical debt in the Sizing Model Tab.
      2. Re-consolidate the snapshots.
      3. Re-do the consolidation on measurement database.
    2. Else if the metric exists but not activated
      1. Activate the metric.
      2. Re-consolidate the snapshots.
      3. Re-do the consolidation on measurement database.
      1. Else contact CAST Technical Support and provide the relevant input.
  3. If the problem you are facing does not match any case listed in this page, report your problem to CAST Technical Support and provide the below Relevant input:
