Using the property window on a link between two objects can provide valuable information on how the link was created.

To do this, in Enlighten make sure that the link is selected (not an object, but the link itself) and then press F12. This will bring up the property window for the link as shown below.

In this example, the link is between two Powerbuilder objects, a Powerbuilder datastore and a Powerbuilder window.

By having a section named 'Requests found by the Inference Engine', the link is known to have been generated by the Inference Engine.

 

It also provides further information on the file and sub-objects in the file which were used in determining that this link should be created between these two objects.

For a "real" link created between two objects, the link property window will just show the objects involved in the link as shown below:

 

In this example, the link is between two Visual Basic functions and the property window just shows the objects between the links and that it is just a "real" link.
