Action Plan
  1. If the issue you are facing is a performance issue, go to the Delivery Manager Tool - Extraction - Performance section.
  2. If the issue you are facing is ERROR / WARNING / INFO messages in the Extraction log file, enable the Debug details like below:
    Figure 1
  3. If the issue you are facing is an ERROR message identify the ERROR message that leads to the issue, check the INFO messages that are above the ERROR message like below :
    Figure 2
In the example above the INFO message is explicit and explain why the issue occurs.
  4. If the INFO message is not explicit, go to the Delivery Manager Tool - Extraction - Fatal Error
  5. If the issue you are facing is a WARNING message, go to the Delivery Manager Tool - Extraction - Warning page
  6. If the issue you are facing is an INFO, search for INFO having in their messages the below words :
    1. Error
    2. Invalid
    3. Not Found
    4. Failed
  7. If the content is explicit, like "Failed to found file S:\.....\XXX.uax", then solve the issue by providing missing stuff, else, go to the Delivery Manager Tool - Extraction - INFO page
  8. If the issue you are facing is that the extraction is not properly extracting files of any type (including jar files) from a repository like Maven or GIT, then as a temporary workaround you can create a file system folder, extract the files manually to that folder, and then use that folder in your delivery.  You can still then contact CAST Technical Support with the Relevant Input to investigate the root cause of the issue, but this should allow you to proceed forward with the delivery process.
