This page will help you troubleshoot the following problem for Oracle DB extraction, while extracting database DMT is running from long time and the extraction not getting completed.

Step by Step Scenario
- Open DMT.
- Do the extraction of Oracle DB.
Action Plan
This is a known issue, the Oracle extraction is so huge, that it will never finish. To unblock the situation
- Use the offline database extractor GUI/CLI (basically using the CAST-DatabaseExtractor.jar) to extract the oracle data. Please refer the documentation link to download the offline extractor and to gain information about how to use it: CAST Database Extractor
- Once the files are extracted, then you can deliver them directly through DMT (Reuse existing CAST extractor output in DMT).
