Step by Step scenario
  1. Deploy the Siebel package by following the documentation
  2. Launch DMT to extract sources
  3. Extraction is successful but with 0 objects extracted
Action Plan
  1. Obtain the Sherlock export (containing extraction log inside delivery folder)
  2. Check the configuration in the DMT
    1. Follow the below steps to check if your configuration is correct :
      Figure 2
    2. In the package editor, provide a package name and enter the relevant values in "Where is your source code?":
      • The user name in the credentials used for the connection
      • Select "Project" in the field "Repository type"
      • Provide the schema that contains the Siebel tables. If you have specifies XYZ as schema name then ensure that the schema XYZ contains the siebel source code by checking if S_REPOSITORY table is present in the schema XYZ.
      • Enter the Repository ID that corresponds to the Project.
    3. If your configuration seems to be correct yet the extractor is not able to extract the objects then contact CAST Technical Support  with Relevant input.
  3. Even after checking the configuration, if you are getting 0 objects extracted then contact CAST Technical Support  with Relevant input.

For CAST support refer to the page for further investigation - Delivery Manager Tool - Package Extraction - Siebel - 0 objects extracted for each siebel object types - CAST Confidential.
