Problem
On packaging a live Oracle database,the below error is found in log :
Unknown Platform: Null
Error running CAST database extractor!
An error has occured during command processing:com.castsoftware.util.logger.exceptions.LogException
and schemas can not be extracted.

Step by Step Scenario
1. Package live oracle database
2. Click on "Schemas to extract"
3. Check the error in log:

The oracle version being used to extract is not supported presently by CAST.
- For 12 C Oracle version,you will be able to perform extraction on Oracle 12c database server with the beta version of the CAST Database config file (using the DB Extractor in GUI mode).
