Synchronize services and opening Analysis Manager from within CAST Management Studio takes a very long time. This issue has following symptoms
1.  Synchronizing analysis services and opening Analysis Manager from within CAST Management Studio.
2.  The Knowledge Base is hosted on CAST Storage Service.
3.  The application is composed of several dozens of analysis jobs. This is typically the case when the application has been configured using the Source Discovery feature in CAST Management Studio

Action plan

A large number of analysis units auto-discovered using CMS can cause the synchronization performance issue.

To resolve this issue,

  1. Verify the Analysis Unit configuration.
  2.  Merge the smaller units into larger analysis units. Ideally 10-20 units should be acceptable.

Known Issues

This is a known issue in CAST 7.0.2 version. The issue is fixed in CBF01 for CAST 7.0.2. This fix will also be included in 7.0.3 version.

If the customer is experiencing this issue on CAST 7.0.2 version,the version should be upgraded to CAST 7.0.3 version.
