Section of CAST-MS Management Studio log file dealing with SQL PSM z/OS analyzer. Get the location at CAST Logs location.

This section provides the information about the type of analyzer being used based on the technology which is being analyzed in the application. It provides the details about the command line for running universal analyzer, connection profile and also provides the path of the Analysis Log for more details about the analysis of a single Analysis Unit.

INF: 2016-07-06 17:09:18: starting Task Run analysis for 'DB2 ZoS'

Specifying the option -RUN_AU ,the following command line launch analysis unit by retrieving the ID of the Analysis Unit inside the JobSettings.xml. "My Package_15871-20160706170917.castlog'" present the log file of the command line (see option -LOG), this command line can be run from CMD after delivering the application.

My Package_EGL_[AUID]-[DateTime].castlog

This is the DB2 zOS analysis log file. The DB2 zOS is based on DB2 extracted files. Each file is following a standard formatted structure, each information in the file has a given column size. The DB2 Extractor key file is the .Manifest file.

The DB2 zOS discoverer will generate as much analysis units as there is schema to be analyzed.

The DB2 zOS analyzer is not an AMT analyzer, that means there is no AMT IN Table and no AMT saving step. The Saving is a cache saving.

This section provides information on the environment in which analysis is about to run,the location of LISA ,LTSA,LSA folder and the local/knowledge base being used for analysis.
