 The main purpose of this page is to explain how to handle when the synchronization never ends.

Action Plan

When the synchronization never ends:

  1. Check the server status. If the same task is running for four hours as you can see below,
    1. it can be due to a performance issue or a lock on the Knowledge database if it is so then
    2. Stop the CAST-MS process using the Task Manager tool
    3. Perform a CSS Optimize on the Knowledge base and central database.
  2. If the issue is still occurring, stop the CAST-MS process using the Task Manager tool and restart the RDBMS Server.
