CMS Application - Modules - Module content overview - User Defined Modules - Fatal Error - Module content overview failed - No Object Found

Problem Description

When running Prepare analysis Data from AIP Console, we see the below error in the log -

Error: Child task on exception The following modules are empty : 'xxx' Return value: 1000 ERR: 2021-09-22 09:11:21: Prepare analysis data failed. Most of the time, this is due to empty module. ERR: 2021-09-22 09:11:21: For prepare analysis data, empty modules cannot be ignored. Either run a snapshot directly, either update your modules configuration.

Doing a Module content overview from CAST-MS, we might get the following error:

User Defined Module - Module content overview failed
No Object Found -

Applicable in CAST Version
Release
Yes/No
8.3.x (tick)
Step By Step Scenario

For AIP Console -

  1. Add a new version from AIP Console.
  2. Configure an explicit filter content module.
  3. Run analysis/snapshot
  4. Prepare analysis data step fails with error.

CAST-MS

  1. Package and Delivery source code.
  2. Accept Delivery and set as current version.
  3. Configure an explicit filter content module.
  4. Run analysis/snapshot.
  5. Perform a module content overview.
Action Plan

The issue occurs because the format of the explicit filter added to the module is not correct.

When creating an explicit filter, you need to make sure the INSERT statements are present as expected -
