CAST Universal Analyzer Framework - Information - Loading a Universal Analyzer profile in to the CAST Knowledge Base

Use the following instructions to validate and load a Universal Analyzer profile in to the CAST Knowledge Base:

1. Each customer UA package must be validated and saved using the CAST UA Assistant tool (UAAssistant.exe). Refer to the UA Assistant on-line Help for more details.
2. Once the package has been validated and saved, launch CAST Server Manager (ServMan.exe)
3. Select the appropriate CAST Knowledge Base > Right click > Choose Load MetaModel from Disk

Loading a UA profile in to the CAST Knowledge Base will update the following tables:

• TYP with ID of types defined in the metamodel.xml file
• CAT with ID of categories defined in the metamodel.xml file
• PROP with ID of properties defined in the metamodel.xml file
• CATATTR with ID of attributes of categories defined in the metamodel.xml file
• TYPATTR with ID of attributes of types defined in the metamodel.xml file
• CATCAT with inheritance links between different categories
• TYPCAT with inheritance links between types and categories. contains types of inherited categories
