Below is the step-by-step scenario leading to the problem:
- Deliver Code
- Examine Delivered Code in CMS
The impact of the problem on the analysis or the dashboard is:
No impact
CASE 1: Issues seen after migration from 7.0.x to higher versions like 7.2.x ,7.3.x and 8.0.x
- These errors occur for Oracle while migrating from 7.0 to 7.2/7.3/8.0.x.
- It occurs also for SQL Server and Sybase while migrating from 7.0.x to 7.2.x/7.3.x/8.0.x
To fix these errors:
- Launch DMT to connect to the database again by entering the connection details, the extraction parameters to extract and deliver the sources again.
- If the errors are still reported with the new delivery, contact CAST Technical Support
CASE 2: Issues seen after new delivery
To fix the problem, proceed as follows:
- In the Delivery Manager Tool, remove the slash or backslash in the package root path for the Analysis Unit that was delivered associated with this Missing Name .
- Perform a package and delivery operation in DMT.
If you do provide a name by clicking on the analysis unit in the validation view, then the error will go away, but you will not see the analysis unit which was created.
This is planned to be fixed in 7.3.11 service pack. The issue has already been fixed in CAST 8.0.X and above.
