CAST Management Studio - Information - How to launch CAST-MS in SHOW SQL mode in order to get the SQL traces

This page provides information about how to launch CAST-MS in SHOW SQL mode in order to get the SQL traces.

SHOW SQL mode can be activated for CAST-MS by adding -LogSQL at the end of the command line of the CMS.

Steps to activate:

Option -1 :

Right click on Windows shortcut for CAST-MS in the Start menu and choose Properties. Add '-LogSQL' to the end of the command line as shown below.

Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\CAST\7.2\CAST-MS.exe" -LogSQL

Option - 2:

Check "Activate debug options" and check "SHOW SQL " while Running analysis.

SQL traces are logged in the CAST-MS log file
