CAST Management Studio - Information - How to change the name or rename an existing application

This information page describes how to change the name or rename an application.

Here are the steps to change the name or rename an existing application 

• Make sure that you have good backups in case you have problems with any of these steps.
• Update the name in the AIC Portal where you have created the application.
• Once you have updated the name in the AIC Portal, open Cast Management Studio (CAST-MS/CMS) and you should see the updated name.
• Do a Save in CMS to save the updates to the Management Base (MB).
• Do a Synchronize to save the updates to the local and central bases (KB and CB).
• Upload snapshots to the measurement service to update the measurement database .
