CAST Management Studio - Configuration Menu - Error - The New delivery cannot be a sub-folder of the current folder

This page talk about the error "The New delivery cannot be a sub-folder of the current folder" on changing the Delivery folder under Platform settings.

Please find the screen shot below:

1. Cast MS preferences was set with Delivery as C:\CASTMS2140\Delivery
2. Created a new Delivery folder C:\CASTMS2140\Delivery1
   Both the Delivery and Delivery1 are in the same folder.
3. Set the Delivery to C:\CASTMS2140\Delivery1
4. Click Finish
5. Error: The new delivery folder cannot be a sub-folder of the current one

If we are changing the new path on top of the existing path then CAST considers it as a sub-folder and hence throws the error message.

A workaround for this issue is to

1. Route the current delivery folder with a third delivery path.For example: Suppose the current Delivery path is C:\CASTMS2140\Delivery and we want to change the delivery path to C:\CASTMS2140\Delivery1.We cannot change the path directly from "Delivery" to "Delivery1" moreover we have to change the path to some other folder name say "MyDelivery" or "Deliver" in the same root folder and then back to "Delivery1" path, because the previous path is matched with the new path and if the new path is the super set of the previous path then it throws the error.
2. Then change the delivery path as required as shown in the screen shot below
    

No Impact on Analysis Results and Dashboard.

This issue is planned to be fixed in CAST 7.3.8
