CAST Imaging System - Search for items

This page describes possible issues that may be encountered while searching for an Item.

There are three methods to search for an Item:

• Current view search
• Standard search for specific objects
• Cypher search

1. If you are having issues with app level searching not returning results on occasion, then please upgrade to Imaging 1.8.x or higher.
   1. Imaging System loads the object nodes from level 5 to level 1 and this process is asynchronous. When we search for any object during this process, we will encounter this scenario in older versions as the objects are still loading.  This behavior was optimized in Imaging 1.8
